Studed: Art Schools in Munich, Paris and New York

Besides creating delightful art Franz Bueb has built several homes in Austria: a “Butterfly House” in Kitzbuhel, and a “Spider Web” house in the Vienna woods composed of hand hewn beams and wooden pegs. Later he turned a Dalmatian sailing vessel into a floating studio. Bueb’s work has been exhibited extensively in Galleries in London, Rome, Munich, Newport and Palm Beach. He has been represented by Knoedler Gallery in New York and his work has been acquired by the Norton Museum, The Los Angeles County Museum, the Grand Rapids Museum of Art and many Collectors including George P. Widener, Nicholas DuPont, Ambassador Angier Biddle Duke, the Duchess of Windsor, Jacqueline Kennedy, Ellen Lehman McCluskey and Baron Edmund de Rothchild.
